Working for an independent Plant & Tool Hire company, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our Team at the Aylesbury site. You will be working as a Class 2 HGV Driver, reporting & liaising with the Hire Desk covering both the High Wycombe & Aylesbury located sites.
The role will involve multi-drop and collections to and from our Customers of Hire Plant equipment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Plant and Tool Hire environment.
This is a full time, permanent position and is available with an immediate start.
Key Responsibilities:
- Multi drop & collections of Plant Hire Equipment.
- Daily/weekly vehicle checks ensuring any defects are reported immediately.
- Ensure that the plant hire equipment is loaded and secured safely.
- Develop and maintain product knowledge in order to ensure accurate & effective deliveries.
- Maintain appropriate delivery and collection documentation.
- Ensure Delivery & Collection Procedures are followed – signature/photographs taken.
Qualifications & Key Skills:
- Possess a full & valid Driver Certificate of Professional Compliance (CPC) and digital tachograph.
- Must have previous Plant & Tool Hire delivery/collection experience of large plant machinery, such as diggers, dumpers, lifting & powered access equipment.
- A strong commitment to deliver excellent customer service.
- Good knowledge of Plant Hire equipment.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Good Customer Service skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
